I'm excited to get my MacBook Pro (probably this week) and start on it...although the F@H website does not have an Intel version yet.
Would it be possible to run the Linux version on your MBP? Linux and BSD (Which Mac OS X is based on) are very similar.

I thought that Mac OS is immune to security threats?
no operating system is immune, mac osx just does a better job of protecting itself and hackers usually go for windows because more people use it

The release is so close and I'm sure adobe and avid saw plenty of FCX so a little teaser trailer would be cool. I'm just excited to see how this program will work, it should be interesting. Im using an Intel 320 SSD in my MacBook Pro 15" 2010 and its amazing. The biggest difference is boot times and application startup times. I was annoyed when my MacBook Air with a C2D felt faster than my MacBook Pro with an i5, so i installed this new ssd and reinstalled the OS, now its the fastest computer i've ever used.
I chose Intel mainly because of the trustworthy brand and they seemed to be doing quite well with the X25 series. SSD's are certainly worth it, im never going to buy/build a computer without an SSD in future- its the best upgrade possible.

One thing that bugs me about the illegal tethering situation:
If AT&T knows who is illegally tethering, why do they allow it to happen? Why not simply prevent tethering packets from reaching the Internet?
AT&T obviously can differentiate between data to the YouTube app and data through MyWi because they meter legal tethering to 4Gb limit.
Is it just a big tease? And why not simply back charge everyone who used MyWi/PdaNet in the past?
When I talked to the AT&T rep, she said I had tethered illegally. But she could not tell me the specific times I had tethered. Lame.

Sure, the default Sheppard. But, I didn't play as default, nor did any of my friends. And we all acted differently in the game, as well. Will the movie have Sheppard as more "Renegade" or "Paragon" in his/her actions? So many different ways that people could have done things, how do you specify which is "correct" for the movie storyline? What type of character will they be? What armor and weapons will they use? This isn't a Gears of War movie, where we have specific characters going through a specific, predetermined story, with premade cutscenes and dialogue.
Don't get me wrong. I really enjoy the world of Mass Effect. But, the reason I love it is SPECIFICALLY because I can personally interact with it, how ever I want. The minute you take all that away, you end up with just another sci-fi/action movie, loosely based on a game, that fails miserably. I don't want to see that happen to this game. Sadly, it seems it will.

This always confuses me. Why do they call it a newsreader? Why not an RSS reader? This does nothing more than keep track of and read RSS feeds. It's not significantly different/better than the RSS capability built into Safari or Firefox.
Maybe I'm a purist (or a snob), but to me a "newsreader" is an application used to read the newsgroups (the Usenet). Panic's Unison application is a newsreader. It connects to newsgroup servers and allows me to read posts and download attachments.
Am I being too picky?

The need for an iOS subforum depends in part on the quantity of IOS-themed threads we routinely have, other than those in the News forums and the programming forums. Can you point out more than a few currently active threads that fall into this category? I haven't spotted many.

I need to find out how to make it so that the user can change the font size... But i'm unable to find an online tutorial on how to do it.
I want to make it so that in the footer there are 3 different buttons, which will make the font smaller, the same, and then bigger.

I don't know if this would be allowed in the contest, because I kinda stole it.
I made it, not to steal it, but because I thought it was kinda funny that it looks different, depending on how you look at it!

What I find interesting in that graph is that about 20% of iPad users are getting another device because "other tablets became available." Does that mean they're going to get a cheaper competing device as a second unit?

Thanks for the replies! I just found it odd for their to be ads in the background like that, which are only visible for a micro-second. I would also never pirate an iOS app and was simply curious if those ads went away after purchasing as they were kind of annoying.
It seems weird that the trial version contains advertisements. I would think the trial would be the same as the full version. Anyway, did you get it to work with FaceTime on 4.3.2? I haven't been able to get it to work since updating, and was wondering if I was alone with this problem.
